i miss my lost ipod video so much. the music they play at the gym is torturous. the tv screens all play the same inane election coverage. i'm going to rip everything in my house/car apart this weekend trying to find it, but if i still can't find it, i'll have to get another one.

i'm prepared for the likelihood that it's gone forever :( so now i'm thinking about what i'll replace it with if it comes to that point. it must be an ipod because i need to be able to mark audio/videos for removal from the device (unless another company's product finally offers that?) i played with glueslabs' ipod touch recently and was struck by the pretty screen. i'd really prefer a larger screen than the video. is it worth another $150 just to get an inch more of screen and a lot less space tho? that thing is so damn expensive. :/ i would never use any of the other features... my phone already does everything the touch does and more.
