tonight they're having alvin toffler speak!! aside from being a very interesting writer, he's also the reason juan atkins used the term 'techno' to refer to detroit electronic music. man i wish i could go :( but it's $200 anyway.

i love the oddly named "GAS books" even though they are ridiculously expensive and aren't really books at all. i also really enjoy the "girls on the street" fashion section on their main site. they have photos of random people from vancouver, paris, nyc, barcelona, etc.. but my favorites are almost always the ones taken in japan. |
